Second Teaching Training Activity - Turkey/Iskenderun

In this LTTA teachers had the opportunity to learn about different aspects of survival. Since Turkey is a country prone to earthquakes the training was focused first aid, fire safety, and earthquake rescue. Teachers had the opportunity to visit the Disaster and Emergency Organization (AFAD) to learn more about the Turkish rescue practices.
The training also included demonstrations and training on safety in the community by the police. The police conducted training and demonstrations on suspicious objects in the public and bomb disposal.
